Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s stepfather, Shrawan Sahni, dies; “I will miss you,” she wrote in an emotional note | Bollywood


Ranbir Kapoor’s sister-in-law, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shrawan Sahni, died on Monday. Riddhima posted a photo of himself on social media to pay tribute to him and also added a brief emotional note.

Taking his Instagram account, Riddhima posted a photo of his stepfather and wrote: “We will miss you”, adding a heartbroken emoticon. Shrawan Sahni was the father of Bharat Sahni, Riddhima’s husband.

In the comments section, veteran actor and mother of Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan, wrote: “Sincere condolences and love.” Actors Dia Mirza, Ameesha Patel, Sophie Choudry, among others, dropped clasped hand emojis in the comments section.

Besides these celebrities, Riddhima supporters also paid tribute to Shrawan Sahni. One person wrote: “Very sorry to hear of your loss! Babu ji was without a doubt a gem of a person! That his soul rests in peace! Our sincere condolences to the family. While another said, “I hope his soul rests in peace.” May God give you and your husband the strength to endure the loss. Please take care of yourself.

Riddhima’s husband, Bharat Sahni, shared details of his late father’s last rites on his Instagram account, with the caption: “I will always miss you dad!”

Rajiv Adatia, former Bigg Boss 15 competitor, commented on Bharat’s post and said: “I am sorry for your loss, your prayers and your love.” Soni Razdan wrote: “Sincere condolences. May your dear father rest in peace. Much love for you and your family at this very difficult time.” Riddhima’s mother and veteran actor Neetu Kapoor also shared details of the last rites on her Instagram story.

Bharat Sahni is the owner of Wearwell India Private Limited, a textiles export company based in Noida. Bharat married Riddhima Kapoor in 2006 after dating for a few years. In 2011, the couple welcomed their daughter Samara Sahni.
