In 2020, FLG will launch OER development efforts in high-demand and job-growing disciplines in STEM, IT, business, accounting and finance through multiple cohorts of internships. in instructional design. During internships, joint military professionals – often unemployed due to constant changes of duty station – will reapply their industry experience and turn to educational content development. Through the program, nurses, scientists, engineers, lawyers, cybersecurity analysts and data science experts will create comprehensive OER courses including educational content, homework, discussions, rubrics, banks questions and other educational resources.
